Introduction

this proposal of Traymark Industrial Caravans Pty Ltd is to build a Traymark Mobile works van that is of robust construction suited to adverse road conditions. The room unit is designed to last through the rigors of constant movement throughout the state, at the same time not building in excess weight that would impede easy relocation. The materials and workmanship will be to the highest standard and meet all requirements as stated in the Australian Standards.

The chassis is the backbone of the unit supported with gusseted wall framing. The two combined ensure a strong robust mobile unit for many years of service.

  • 2 x ALKO 45mm square axle - 10” electric brakes
  • Suspension kit to carry 2500kg load - leaf type with non-lubricated type bushes
  • Rims are to be split rim type with bias ply 750-16x14 ply tyres fitted
  • 4 x tyres
  • 4 x stabiliser legs galvanized pipe type
  • 1 x towing coupling - 50mm Ball
  • 1 x ALKO 200mm jockey wheel - weld on swivel plate
  • 1 x water tank bracket
  • 2 x Fold out steps
  • Wall framing is to be galvanised RHS with welds painted
  • All welding is with a MIG welder - using 1 mm high tensile wire
  • All welds to be sealed with cold gal
  • Floor joists are at no more than 600mm centres
  • Walls and roof shall be bolted together
  • Walls shall be welded every 400mm to chassis
  • Lockable gas bottle compartment (under seating) - for 2x 9kg bottles
  • 15mm structural ply is glued and screwed to floor joists - then sanded flat
  • Underside of floor is painted - topside of floor is covered in Gerflor vinyl
  • Wall and ceiling sheeting is 4mm Polyester Plywood - glued and riveted to studs
  • Cabinet work as per plan
  • Bench tops are 16mm ply laminated with edges of plastic stripping
  • All drawers and doors to have positive locking devices fitted - (central divider in cutlery drawer)
  • 1 x stainless steel sink fitted with hand pump
  • 2 x Padded bench seats with lift up storage
  • 1 x Table
  • 1 x Dometic RM2350 90lt gas fridge
  • 1 x Lido junior gas cooker with mini-grill
  • 25lt Microwave
  • External sheeting is .4mm maxirib colour-bond sheeting fixed with Sika-Flex and riveted to RHS studs
  • All joins are made over steel studs
  • Roof sheets are single piece sheets
  • Roof is pitched to allow run-off when in level position
  • All sheeting will be without dents or bows
  • 50mm insulation to roof
  • 25mm insulation to walls
  • 2 x 2000 x 700mm solid core commercial grade doors
  • 2 x Aluminium fly screen doors
  • 3 x 565 x 1175mm aluminium framed sliding windows with fly screens
  • 3 x Hinged security awnings over windows, fitted with gas stays
  • 1 x Roof hatch/vent (355x355)

12 volt wiring is per Australian Design rules Includes:

All electrical wiring is per Australian Standards - AS3001 and carried out and tested by a licensed contractor. All wiring passing through metal or timber will be protected using grommets.

  • Air Command IBIS 4 3.0kW roof mounted air conditioner
  • Honda EU30I portable 3.0kVA petrol generator - in lockable enclosure mounted to drawbar Note. This generator is the minimum requirement to run the above air conditioner
